Eleanor Thinks She is a Goat by Missy Farkouh
This cute, charmingly illustrated rhyming book is about Sweet Eleanor, who comes to the farm when someone dumps her outside the fence. Eleanor is a sheep, but this is a goat farm, and it is very difficult for her to fit in with the goats. As much as she tries to be included, the goats will not play with her or include her. Luckily, Farmer Jeff is very smart, and shows Eleanor how to find her way as the only sheep on a farm full of goats.
This is a perfect story for parents, teachers and caregivers to open a conversation with kids 3-8 about bullying and being excluded. The message to kids is that they always need to be authentically themselves.
